Brothers: the Game

The game focuses on realistic military-style tank fights in an abstracted environment. Players control a series of machines moving on a two-dimensional battlefield. Firing at targets is done with a both undershot and overhead shot options, potentially sniping enemies from specific angles.

Players face off against an enemy team, exchanging artillery and taking cover behind stationary and movable shields. The damage model affects the enemy armor in a non-predictable way, with multiple shots sometimes hitting the same spot and other times whizzing right through the thinner parts. As tanks lose health, they become increasingly vulnerable.

Using a web browser, one can participate in this turn-based combat without downloading any additional software or registering for a service. Effective teamwork and strategic positioning on the battlefield are key to achieving victory. Despite lacking a specified storyline, the challenge lies in managing resources and taking down opponents with clever positioning.
