Players take on the roles of astronauts on a spaceship, where some players are quietly working together to complete tasks while others plot to eliminate their crewmates covertly. The game begins with players learning the tasks and navigating the ship to see who among them is trustworthy. They must work together to accomplish objectives and turn the ship around towards the landing site. However, one or more players are secretly impostors, pretending to be astronauts but working against the group's success. As players work and socialize, they must figure out who among them is not genuine. They gather information by talking to each other, observing actions, and looking for suspicious behavior. The salute gesture serves as a key to expose the killer, and players can use this information to vote out the impostor or allow them to continue their plan. Most social deduction games allow for a group of players to completely eliminate the counterparts.
