Octopus Blast

Players assume the role of an underwater operator tasked with clearing a wave of incoming sea creatures, including a giant octopus. As the oceanic threat approaches, the player must time their shots carefully to pierce the beast's armor and weaken its tentacles. A well-coordinated assault is key to success.

The action unfolds on a two-dimensional grid, with the player controlling a cannon that fires a steady stream of projectiles. Each shot must be carefully aimed to hit the vulnerable weak spots on the octopus's body, gradually whittling down its defenses. The challenge lies in the organic flow of the game, as the creature shimmers and shifts as it reforms its tentacles in response to damage.

Octopus Blast plays directly in the user's browser, requiring no software download or account registration. The player's goal is to deplete the octopus's health by targeting its sensitive spots, ultimately culminating in its demise and the elimination of the threat. The level is presumably unending, with the creature regenerating its strength after a brief pause.
