Escape Plan is a puzzle game that challenges players to guide a couple through a treacherous prison by cutting through walls and doors. The couple is trapped on one side of a row of cells, and the goal is to free them by navigating a hidden laser beam to reach a hole on the opposite side. Players interact with the game by clicking and dragging to cut through various materials, including walls, doors, and even the laser beam itself. The core mechanic involves using the beam to expose the couple's location, allowing them to crawl towards the exit while navigating around obstacles. The challenge is to carve a path through the maze-like prison without hitting the wrong spot, as this would reset the level. As the levels progress, new hazards and constraints are introduced, requiring players to adapt their strategy and find creative solutions.
