Either side plays a turn-based game, taking individual turns to make moves towards the same goal. The core gameplay involves a series of alternations starting with one player making a move and then the other trying to outmaneuver it. The players switch roles, each one interacting with the digitized grid space in a sequential manner.
Objective is to be the one left in a more favorable position after traversing the grid and uncovering its components. The game ends with the remaining player securing a spot ahead of the other, having navigated through the digitized game space successfully. There are grid components which players address using specific actions, often involving movements in a particular sequence.
